Romee Strijd (born July 19, 1995 in Zoetermeer, NL) is a professional fashion model from the Netherlands. She was discoverd at the age of fourteen but really decided to give modelling a try at the age of sixteen. It didn't take long before she got noticed, because she got her breakthrough in the S/S 12 season when she opened and closed for Christopher Kane. Her real name means 'battle' in Dutch.
She has walked in fashion shows for Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Roland Mouret, Céline, Prada, Giambattista Valli, Hakaan, Yves Saint Laurent, Cacharel, Loewe, Jil Sander, Balmain, Burberry Prorsum, Christopher Kane, Isabel Marant and Nina Ricci, to name a few.
She also did campaign work for names such as Supertrash, s.Oliver, Mer du Nord and Bershka.
She appeared in editorials for Dossier Journal, the Dutch editions of Marie-Claire and Grazia plus the British and Spanish editions of Vogue.
She's currently signed with DNA Models in New York, Viva Models in Paris and London, and with Wilma Wakker Models in Amsterdam.
